Art Unites Us 2025

On Saturday, December 20, a new exhibition presentation of the Jewish Art and Crafts Guild members was held in the conference hall of the Kings Bay Library in Brooklyn. It’s simple yet accurate title — “Art Unites Us” — reflected the spirit of the event.

Participants presented from two to five works, giving visitors an opportunity to appreciate the diversity of artistic styles. The hall was filled with guests, friends, and art lovers.

The presentation was opened by the president of the Guild, Yelena Zubok. She then gave the floor to Mikhael Bezchastnov, who read his poems, followed by several piano pieces performed by his wife, Tatyana.

The true protagonists of the evening were, of course, the artists whose works adorned the walls of the hall. Among the featured pieces were Winter landscapes by Lyudmila Leybovich,

“Blue Mountains” and “Alaska” by Viktor Ostapenko,

the monochrome “Japanese Landscape” by Yelena Zubok, the vibrant “Sailing Boats” by Andrey Antonov,

still lifes by Izabella Gutman

and Nathaniel Aronov, mystical drawings by Anna Yablochnik,

the lyrical “Nightingale” by Ganna Valovyk, beautiful tapestries of fine workmanship by Nina Zhuravel,

and the violin-shaped wood collage by Yakov Kleinerman, which ingeniously incorporates a klezmer ensemble.

The exhibition proved a success and once again demonstrated that the Art truly unites people.
